How Stipop maximizes sticker revenue opportunity
Introduction
Through Stipop, you can distribute your stickers to many different channels which will help you maximize revenue.
Because some channels work differently than others, the revenue model can be a little different.
In this document, we will explain the different types of revenue models in each main channel.
1) Stipop App
Stipop App is offered for both Android and iOS devices. Users can subscribe to Stipop Membership and get the following benefit:
Send unlimited stickers on iMessage
Export monthly ‘x’ number of sticker packs to WhatsApp and Telegram
Use stickers to create unique wallpaper and watch face
The reason why on iMessage unlimited sticker use is offered whereas in WhatsApp and Telegram, it’s limited, is because on iMessage we can lock stickers once the user opts out from Membership. However on WhatsApp, once the user exports the sticker pack there is no way for Stipop to delete or lock the pack so it works more like a single purchase.
To intrigue and convert more users into a Subscription (thus increasing artist payout) we offer what’s called a weekly free sticker pack option on our home page of the app. Your sticker pack may be offered for free for a week, but because this is just offered for iMessage users will be locked out from using your sticker pack once the free period is over, and if they like the sticker pack they will more likely convert into paying user.
2) Stipop B2B Channel
Besides the iOS and the Android app, we offer a B2B solution. What this does is basically help services (like a dating app or an editing tool, etc.) that don’t have stickers offer stickers to their users by easily installing the Stipop B2B solution. In this case, the company or service that is using Stipop Solution will pay a monthly fee depending on monthly sticker users within that service. This money will be transferred as an artist payout depending on the % of sticker usage among monthly sticker users.
Below are some examples of services that are included in our B2B channel. We will try to keep the list as up-to-date as possible, but because of how new companies are updated and existing services leave, this may not be 100% accurate all the time. But if there are any major updates, we will inform you through email.
